The roots of DHARCO lie on the beaches of Syney, Australia. Their philosophy is that great wear starts with a great quality yarn, good fit and functional features. They find inspiration in the surf style they see daily around their HQ.

The product
The Gravity pants have a high quality feel to them when taking them out of the packaging. They close with a zipper, velcro and two buttons, and to customize the fit you can use the two tabs on the hips. There is one right hand pocket, and a stealth back pocket, both equipped with zippers to make sure you don’t lose anything while getting rad on the hill. The fit is on the tight side on the waist, you might want to order a size larger as the pants are quite stretchy, but the waistband is not.
The Gravity Jersey is a lightweight, very breathable jersey. The mesh panels on the side keep you cool on the hottest of days and there is a small pocket for your credit cards or lift pass. The jersey is a regular fit.
Out on the trail
The fit of these riding pants is spot on. The flexible material makes it easy to move around in, and they are cut wide enough around the knees to allow riding with knee pads. One thing I do immediately notice is the lack of a pocket on the left side.
Technically, you can put a lift card in the backpocket, but then your backpack or hip bag obstructs it when going through the gate. It does need to be said that the DHARCO Jersey’s come with a special lift pass pocket. So when you ride a matching combo, that’s not an issue anymore.
With the arrival of autumn, these pants became a quick go-to product. Breathable and flexible to not hinder your riding, while warm enough for those chilly days out. When the odd rain shower hits, they wick the moisture fairly well. But keep in mind that they are not rain pants.
The jersey is made of a nice and lightweight material. Very breathable and it has a nice, slightly longer fit on the torso. The small stash pocket is ideal for your lift pass or some snacks. On top of that, the jersey is made with recycled materials (except the mesh side panels).
Verdict
Great, high quality combo for colder weather riding. The fabrics are high quality, lightweight and have a great fit. Keep in mind to not be too optimistic about your pants size. If we had a say in it, we’d add a pocket on the left side, but other than that, there’s nothing to remark.
If you like the style, add it to the shopping list!
