Whilst the name might be a bit of a mouthful the BC-X1.2 is anything but cumbersome. It’s a lightweight freeride glove designed to be comfortable and breathable for those summer days in the saddle. It is pre-shaped for the best fit and features gel padding on the heel of the palm. There is a Velcro closure on the top of the wrist and plenty of silicone grip to ensure you maintain total control on the bike.
Buy Gloves onSlipping the BC-X1.2 on you can feel the quality of the fabric used, the preformed fit also makes them very comfortable and you don’t feel like you’re pulling the glove out of shape when you grip the bars. Antibacterial fabrics have been used to keep them as fresh as possible for as long as possible and the lightweight nature of the rear of the glove ensures a smooth airflow to keep your hands cool.
Terry cloth thumb wipes complete the package, always handy to have, one downside is they don’t work too well with your phone, so you’ll have to take them off to tweet your mates about your epic day on the trails…

His first mountain bike was a Trek 820, which he bought in 1990. It didn’t take him long to earn himself a trip to the hospital on it, and he’s never looked back since. These days he’s keeping it rubber side down, riding locally and overseas as much as possible.
