At A Glance

The majority of Knog products are initially striking with their quirky designs and funky colours, and the Boomer USB light set is no different. Once you start to look a little closer, (and realise that it’s not in fact an asthma inhaler, but a bike light) you notice the attention to detail, high-quality build and ingenious features that the brand has become known for.

Part of their Silicone line-up, each Boomer light consists of two parts; the main light body, and the flexible rubber casing. A slim, fuss-free, and waterproof partnership. The integrated rubber clip makes them quick to attach, but remain sturdy once secured and provides an easy, no tools mounting.

Overall

The single high-powered LED has a rating of 55 lumens for the front and 15 lumens for the rear, with 4 modes (constant, strobe flash, fast flash and random flash).

A decent rechargeable light set, thanks to the incorporated USB, which is ideal for keeping you visible on any on-road sections you may have to ride.

These days he’s keeping it rubber side down, riding locally and overseas as much as possible.
