Enduro2 2024: Meribel Race Update
Win a GO3 Camera by Insta360 this issue in our FREE subscriber prize draw.
As per the last two editions of Enduro2, it’s HQ and start-finish each day will again be based at Meribel. (Just to quash the rumours, there is no ‘new location’ for 2024).
Enduro2 is excited to confirm that Belleville Bike Park and Brides Les Bains have joined Meribel as official race partners for the first time. This has unlocked access to more lifts, and therefore more trails…and yes, you guessed it, this means even more singletrack (and less bike park) than 2023! Bring it on!
The plan is to open the long lift out of Brides Les Bains for two days (instead of just Saturday), and this means you’ll be able to run a third epic singletrack descent all the way to the bottom of the valley.
This vast domain just keeps on giving more and more!
RACE DATES
Work is on the go with the resort, hotels, bars & caterers, & bike park crew to confirm the optimum dates for everyone, but there is a lot to co-ordinate here, and getting it right is a must. This means that the dates for 2024 are not quite yet confirmed.
But what’s already known is that the Enduro2 Meribel 2024 dates will be Saturday to Monday, and in one of the following, either:
29 JUNE – 1 JULY 2024 or 6 – 8 JULY 2024
The dates will be confirmed by email and on the Enduro2’s website before 8 November (that’s two weeks from today).

TIMELINE FOR REGISTRATION 2024
Registrations will open earlier this year to try to reduce the usual ‘rush’ and give more people time to register. (Last year registration opened in January and sold out in 30 minutes!).
Note that the terms are flexible, so it’s possible to reserve your team’s entry early, then find or change your team-mate later, without any admin fees.
As usual, it is possible to reserve one of a limited number of early entries if you also plan to book into Enduro2 accommodation.
EARLY REGISTRATION
Opens 19 November (Only if you book Enduro2 Accommodation)
GENERAL REGISTRATION
Opens 3 December at 20:00 CET
REGISTRATION FEES 2024
Price inflation is going crazy this year, and unfortunately the Enduro2 is not immune to its effects. Its single biggest direct cost is lift-passes (and paying to open key lifts as a one-off for the event). Ski lifts unsurprisingly use a lot of power, and resorts buy electricity at wholesales prices which have rocketed skywards even more than even domestic electricity costs. All that eventually feeds through to the cost-price for the lift tickets bought for Enduro2.
But spite of all this, the entry price in 2024 was set at only a modest (10%) increase over last year:
€319 per rider (€638 per team of two)
To soften the blow, cold beers we’ll be handled out at the finish line, so make sure you finish your ride with a good thirst on! Jack’s bar will also offer Enduro2 riders a great discount on drinks via an extended happy hour deal every day, at their bar.
