With the introduction of Performance Wear in 2022, YT gave its customers access to high-performance jerseys, boosting their confidence on and off the bike. It’s no secret that there was a missing piece to the Performance Wear puzzle, and in true YT style, the solution was no off-the -shelf job. Designed and developed in-house, tested, and approved by the MOB, this brand-new range of Gravity & Trail pants & shorts give riders of all abilities the confidence they need to push their boundaries, dust themselves off, and hit the trails again.
Gravity Pants & Shorts
YT’s heritage is embedded gravity MTB, so covering your ass for technical riding was high on its agenda. Designed for the harshest scenarios mountain biking throws your way, the Gravity Pants feature a four-way stretch DWR-coated construction to keep elements at bay while you crack on with the session. CORDURA® Ripstop material on the action areas of the knee, thigh, and seat help boost durability throughout the season. The leg sections are a tapered, slim fit with stretch inserts around the ankle, keeping the looks fitted and loose fabric away from the drivetrain. If putting down the power is your thing, the articulated knee section at the rear enables unhindered power transfer, while laser perforations on the front panel keep things cool. Lastly, it’s common knowledge mountain bikers are partial to a beer or two, which may or may not cause waistlines to expand… therefore integrating a ratchet closure system with Velcro waist adjust was a must for adapting to body shapes. Trail Pants & Shorts
Available in women’s and men’s fits, the Trail Pants and Shorts are fabricated from a light weight CORDURA® material, enabling all-day comfort in the saddle. Dropping in stone grey and black colorways, the pants feature pre-shaped knees and have enough room for pads underneath if getting rowdy on the trail bike is your thing. Grabbing the post ride drinks is a fast way of becoming the favorite friend, so each variation features three zipped pockets for your credit card, keys and phone. Taking its cues from the Gravity Pants and Shorts, the Trial versions feature the same DWR coating and four way stretch material for weather-resistant pedaling performance.
