Val di Sole and Giant Unite for Another Season of Mountain Biking
For the second consecutive year, the world leader in bicycle manufacturing will be the official sponsor and bike partner of Val di Sole Bikeland, which will host the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup from June 29 to July 2.
After a wonderful 2022 season that was supercharged with excitement from both the Mountain Bike and Cyclocross World Cups, and from the huge number of visitors throughout the summer season, Val di Sole Bikeland and Giant are partnering once again for another year of great off-road cycling.
Giant, the undisputed world leader in bicycle manufacturing, will be the official sponsor and bike partner for the new season at Val di Sole Bikeland, which will once again host an event that’s an established classic on the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup calendar. In just a few weeks – from June 29 to July 2 – this event will strengthen Trentino valley’s status as a global destination for off-road riding.
This season Giant will be a key player in Val di Sole – not only for international events, which include the UCI Cyclocross World Cup on December 10 on the snow of Vermiglio – but also in the development of an increasingly rich and diversified cycling product. Summer 2023 will feature the Alpine Gravel project, with its six routes that were officially launched at the end of more than a year’s work, in harmony with existing mtb routes that can be seen in the Val di Sole BikeLog videos from the past season.
Heading off the beaten path to embrace innovative and unconventional routes is also part of Giant’s spirit, as evidenced by its mantra “Ride Unleashed”. The Taiwanese brand has demonstrated this approach with its new choice of ambassador – Riccardo Vender, a young rider who made his debut on the legendary Black Snake. At just 12 years old, Vender has already achieved international success in enduro and downhill racing, as well as forged a reputation in social media, thanks to his skills and his daring descents on the trails of Val di Sole, for which he is also an ambassador.
