Team Unior-Sinter Factory Racing is back on Trek bikes
Unior-Sinter Factory Racing is hopping back on the Trek Session! Over a decade ago, Trek and Unior-Sinter partnered to produce triumphs like 2 World Cup victories, 3 European titles and numerous podiums. They’re collaborating once again, with a focus on developing downhill racing’s future stars! Unior-Sinter Factory Racing riders will use the latest incarnation of the proven Trek Session platform in pursuit of top results in the newly formed UCI Mountain Bike World Series.
The Trek Session is a pure race bike, built on Trek’s commitment to top-level performance and passion for racing – the same passion that Unior-Sinter Factory Racing has and its commitment to give riders the best possible support. The renewed partnership will begin with the 2023 season.
Unior-Sinter has a proud legacy of creating champions. Reece Wilson rode for the team before later joining Trek Factory Racing and winning an elite World Championship in 2020. Unior-Sinter’s current riders for the UCI Mountain Bike World Series are Leona Pierrini, Ben Zwar and Jure Žabjek. Together, they form a great mix of experience and fresh blood.
They will be riding and racing on custom painted Trek Sessions with Fox suspension and other top-tier components. Their bike of choice for everyday rides will be the brand new Fuel EX. All of the bikes will be equipped with Sinter brake pads, and team mechanics will have a full line of Unior bike tools available for every job. Trek is also a global distributor for both Unior bike tools and Sinter brake pads, adding to the strength of the new partnership.
