There is no off-season. Inspired by the passionate desire of athletes to tackle the most adverse weather conditions, GOREWEAR has developed a clothing system with various levels of protection. Mountain bikers can now shape their seasons with gear designed for all conditions. New mid-layers have been added to the existing fall/winter MTB collection. Now nothing can stop you getting outside and enjoying your trails, not even on colder days.
BASELAYER
Designed for technical trail riding all year round, the rugged and lightweight TrailKPR Jersey is partly constructed from recycled materials. It was created to be worn in many ways: alone, with a base layer, or under a jacket. However you layer it, your performance and experience on the trail will be enhanced with better moisture control and increased comfort. The partial seamless construction reduces skin irritation while a soft stretch fabric without elastane prevents the jersey from clinging to your body when you work up a sweat.
MIDLAYER & PANTS
The best gear for MTB & Trail riding keeps mountain bikers warm and dry, even on muddy, off-season rides. That’s why GOREWEAR has extended its existing off-road collection to include an insulating, rugged mid-layer that can easily be mixed and matched. Featuring a functional, thermal fleece material, the TrailKPR Hybrid ½-Zip is the ideal companion for those longer rides in cooler weather. Abrasion-resistant panels provide wear-resistant protection from packs, debris and wind. The high-collared partial zip construction allows for greater temperature control, helps prevent overheating and offers a comfortable non-bunching fit across the torso. This mid-layer can be worn alone or layered into a versatile system for more warmth on colder days. Fleece-lined zipper pockets provide storage space and keep your hands extra toasty before and after training. Available for men and women in three colourways.
The Fernflow Pants were designed for technical trails and to serve all your riding needs in muddy, wet and cold conditions. The focus here is on durability, robustness and light weight. GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ fabrics with integrated GORE® WINDSTOPPER® product technology along the knee, thigh, back and seat area make these strategical zones totally windproof and durably water resistant. A super quick-drying, four-way stretch fabric has been used on the lower legs and back of the upper legs to allow for more freedom of movement. A durable water-resistant treatment offers protection in wet and muddy conditions. Zipped vents prevent heat accumulation and overheating – especially on warmer days or strenuous segments. Lower leg zippers make it easier to add or drop knee protection. These pants are also available as shorts for milder temperatures.
SHELL LAYER
A versatile, lightweight yet robust jacket for coverage in all conditions. Strategically placed GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ fabrics with integrated GORE® WINDSTOPPER® technology in the front, hood and upper arms ensure that these zones of the Lupra Jacket are totally windproof. A four-way stretch woven fabric with a durable water-resistant treatment has been used on the back, hip and lower arms to make this jacket completely water resistant. This jacket is the ideal complement to the new TrailKPR Hybrid ½-Zip. It offers lightweight protection and coverage in transitional conditions, featuring an over-the-helmet hood and front zipped pockets positioned slightly higher to improve backpack and hip bag compatibility. Available for men and women in a variety of colourways.
The incredibly lightweight Endure Jacket is constructed from GORE-TEX PACLITE® Plus and a top choice for cyclists who want more advanced weather protection. In keeping with the GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY™ promise, it has been explicitly designed to be your constant companion over any terrain and in all weather conditions. The slightly longer back deflects rear wheel spray while the over-the-helmet hood provides more adjustable protection from the elements. With its tiny size, it will easily fit in any backpack and can be quickly retrieved if you’re caught in a shower. Brand new colours and patterns brighten up those darker days.
