Sunset Ridge represents the pinnacle of the Hawes tech-trail experience. Big Sister was just being completed when we filmed this and this trail offers more of a “flow” experience.
Doing these two in succession offers a well rounded trail experience with just about everything you could ever ask for as a bicycle enthusiast. Nice work Hawes. Alex Petitdemange filmed this just before the end of 2021.
Once Big Sister gets burned in a bit, it will be an amazing example of what is possible in the desert. Sunset Ridge is straight jank but actually has some semblance of flow after the middle climb. The fresh cut sections were amazing. Love your work Hawes.
