Red Bull Monserrate Cerro Abajo is considered a Mountain Bike Race like no other. The endless stairways above the Colombian capital of Bogota provide the perfect venue for the longest & most likely one of the toughest Urban Downhill competitions in the World. Riding the 2,4-kilometre long track that starts more than 3000 metres above sea level presents a unique challenge, suitable only for the strongest out there.
In 2021 the Red Bull Monserratte Cerro Abajo throne has been conquered by Adrien Loron. In 2020 the Frenchman suffered a tire puncture but finished 4th nevertheless. This year his dedication and determination prevailed and not only had he scored a win, he has also set a new track record of 4:31.485!
