“Simon Bosman gets credit for the first descent of Cathedral Rock in 2016, which made the evening news. To our knowledge, the line has not been attempted since. And with good reason, it’s rugged. Lars Romig and I started at 5am to avoid the hordes of hikers that frequent this popular hiking trail. Yes, it is technically open to bikes. No, you should certainly not attempt to ride Cathedral Rock. It does make for a scenic hike though. This is hands down, the line that scares me the most in Sedona. No question. #followcamfriday risking life and limb for the viewing pleasure of the internet. All joking aside, we do this sort of thing to overcome fear and push what is possible. At the end of the day, that is all the reward we need. Nothing more.”
