Insanely steep downhill MTB trails and a huge jump line in France! Sam Pilgrim shreds Morzine, The french mountain bike mecca, riding Pleney, super Morzine and the huge jumps in Les Gets bike park – Would your ride these jumps?
“I’ve made my way out to Morzine in France in my motorhome to spend some time riding the amazing Portes du Soleil, which is a huge chairlift operated Bike park riding zone, covering loads of different mountains with over 100 different lifts to use for ultimate mountain biking fun! For today’s video, I start off the ride up the Pleney Lift which starts in Morzine. These were the steepest trails i’ve ever ridden and the riding squad were flying down the mountain and the dust was flying! After shredding hard I meet up with my girlfriend Hope to take her down some chill runs in super Morzine with fast sections and winding berms. From here, we switch to day 2 where another huge group head over to Les Gets bike park to hit the new Jump line that flows down the mountain with various different jumps and drops.
This trail was amazing and i’ve never ridden a more technical bike park trail before. Each jump was a different size and gauging the speed was the hardest part that thats what made it super exciting.
I was riding my Haibike DH bike and it was so good to finally smash some real downhill trails on this bike. Thanks to all the other riders for showing me around this amazing riding place, expect a load more awesome videos from this place as I will be staying here for a few weeks.
