We think the award for one of the coolest kids bikes out there goes to Transition for their Ripcord, a proper mini-shredder for the mini-shredderrrs out there.
The Ripcord is a powerhouse of a kids bike. We’ve taken great care to equip it with components that suit small bodies but still perform like their grown up counterparts. Kids these days are riding more, jumping bigger and going farther than ever before. The SRAM NX 11 speed drivetrain with increased gear range of the 11-42t cassette help kids get up the steepest of hills. The Shimano hydraulic MT400 disc brakes are effortless to use and have excellent lever reach adjustment for smaller hands. Traction is provided by the same Maxxis Minion tires that we spec on all our adult bikes for superior control in all conditions.
