Zine introduces Enduro & XC/Marathon, a new lasercut cut griptape, which provides a good grip on the control elements of the MTB cockpit. Slippy shifting on RockShox Reverb levers are a thing of the past. In doing so attention has been paid to numerous details which increase ergonomics and thus the riding pleasure.
The GripP Griptape by Zine differs significantly from conventional skateboard griptape. Thanks to its 30% thinner construction GripP Griptape barely absorbs on the shift levers. Due to the rounded shapes of the levers, a special foil carrier is used which is particularly well attached to the surface. In combination with an industrial adhesive, Zine’s Griptape is reliable and can still be removed residue- free. Zine also refrains from the use of sharp-edged silicon carbide or alumina particles, which is used in conventional griptape. This not only protects the gloves but also the wallet.
The laser cuts the edges of the GripP Griptape reliably, which means that exact shapes for all common levers can be produced on the market, also for the XLoc remote levers from RockShox. The patented design of GripP allows an individual adjustment of the grip level for the shift levers. For grip level # 1, a single Honeycomb shape is applied to the gear lever, covering approximately 30% of the lever surface. Ideal for drier conditions, trail and XC riders. In the case of Grip Level # 2, two Honeycomb molds are positioned next to each other on the lever, which covers approx. 60% of the lever surface. This configuration is particularly suitable for enduro drivers and changing weather conditions. The maximum grip is available with the grip level # 3 with the full shifter design, which covers almost the entire lever surface, ideal for downhill and gravity riders.
