Ride. Wide Open. Proframe Season 2
Fri 8th Sep, 2017 @ 3:30 am
Following the incredibly successful first launch of the Proframe helmet last March, Fox Racing announces today all new Fall 2017 colour options of its most successful helmet to date. Designed to seamlessly blend coverage and breathability, the Proframe took the world by storm by pushing a trail focused design with proven DH certification and inspired confidence for all mountain riders around the globe.
As evidence of this, the Proframe recently won an award for the accessories design category at the prestigious Eurobike tradeshow in Friedrichshafen, Germany. The Jury statement reads: “Enduro riders often take their helmets off when pushing. The Proframe is so light in weight and well ventilated that this is no longer necessary, making it extremely worthy of an award.”
“The Eurobike award is great validation for this project. Our goal with the Proframe was to create a helmet that filled a hole we saw in the market. We were extremely confident about the performance of the helmet and equally strong about how great it looked with the legendary Fox MX DNA built in to the design. What caught us a little by surprise was the overwhelming response we received from the consumer. The helmet performed beyond every expectation we had for it and is still doing so today.” – Dave Ahumada – MTB Global Marketing Manager.
Proframe Technical Features
The key feature of the helmet is the patent pending Fox integrated chin bar. This offers certified downhill level protection while maintaining nearly open face airflow, lightweight climbing breathability, and full-face protection for aggressive descending.
Combined with the proven Fox Varizorb© multi-density EPS and 23 big bore vents, the Proframe is one of the lightest full-face helmets in the world today.
Proframe World Tour
The Proframe world tour continues its route around the world through the end of the year. This time focusing on the southern hemisphere and Asia with multiple stops in China, Mexico, Chile, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. The events feature Fox sponsored athletes and are the perfect place to learn about and try this revolutionary new helmet.
