Want to see a fat bike drifting corners and being thrown about in the snow? Of course you do! Manuel Scheidegger shows off his silky skills in the white stuff and pulls some moves we didn’t think were possible – all this after he’s just mastered the first ascent of a 2340m peak in winter…not bad going we’d say!
“Fatbiking in wintertime is extremely fun! The snow, the sun and riding in deep powder. This time I try to first descent the peak Rothorn 7678 feet in Switzerland (Wallis near to Zermatt). When there is a lot of snow, it isn’t as easy as normal. It was a test, if it works. Once reach the top of the mountain, the downhill is awesome. And yes, freeride and freestyle is possible with fat tires!”
