Frame Festival – get your edits noticed
Frame Festival is a short film festival with bicycles and bike culture as a main theme.
The festival will take place at the beginning of June 2013 in Osijek,Croatia and will offer first-rate entertainment to all bike enthusiasts through cinema, music, and art.
The competition for short films is open from March 11 to May 20, and all creative people from all around the world are eligible to apply. The only important thing is that they share our love for bicycles and cinematography, not necessarily in that order.
Films entered in the competition can be animated, documentary, taken with a video camera, camera, cell phone, and the maximum length is 8 minutes.
The theme of the first Frame Festival is bike culture, travel and environmental awareness, recreation, freedom of movement and everything else your imagination can create under the common denominator – the bicycle.
The tough task of choosing the best entries falls upon our jury of experts, and the chosen ones will be shown at the Urania cinema (Osijek) in June 2013. Authors can submit a maximum of 5 films, which don’t have to be filmed in 2013, and don’t have to be premiered at the festival.
The top three films will be rewarded with rich prizes and a unique cup, which will be the pride and joy of young and old filmmakers alike.

PHOTO CONTEST…
Apart from the short film competition, Frame Festival is also holding a photography contest. All amateur and professional photographers are eligible to apply; the only important thing is that they stick to the festival theme.
The best photos will also be chosen by our jury of experts, and the works will be displayed at a gallery during and after the festival.
A maximum of 5 photos can be entered in the contest; they don’t have to be taken in 2013, and could have been published earlier.
The top three photographs will be awarded valuable prizes and the eternal glory of the
first Frame Festival winner.

All films and photographs directly promoting any brand, product, or service will be disqualified, and the authors will be notified in order to make necessary changes pursuant to the rules of the Frame Festival. By submitting their work to the festival, the authors agree to have their work publicly displayed to the visitors of the Frame Festival.
