We tested the full Muc Off Pressure Washer kit, which includes the following; the Pressure Washer itself, a handy waterproof storage bag, a snow foam lance plus 2 bottles of Muc Off, 1 ready to go and 1 bottle of concentrate. With a retail price in the UK of £119.99 for the full kit, the price is competitive for what’s included.
The pressure washer itself is specifically designed for use on bikes, the idea being that the power isn’t going to be so much that you end up jet washing your frame and hub bearings into the next century. Saying that, the washer is rated up to 100bar of pressure with a max flow rate of 6.5 litres per minute.
Included with the washer is a range of different attachments, with one specific for bicycles, one for motorcycle use and a further higher pressure lance which is ideal for getting that stubborn dirt off your tyres.
In Use
When it came to set up the pressure washer for the first time, everything was very straightforward. Simply plug it into power, hook up your hose/water supply to the washer and hit go! The range of different lances is handy but I found myself just sticking with the recommended bicycle lance as that did a great job of getting all but the most stubborn dirt off the bike.
The included snow foam lance attachment proved helpful in use to make sure that your whole bike is completely covered in Muc Off’s legendary bike cleaner and is able to work its magic.
Once all done and dusted, the whole kit neatly stowed away in the included dry bag and so was able to be easily stored away until the next muddy ride out.
Overall
For anyone looking at a pressure washer then I would definitely consider the Muc Off Pressure Washer. My only criticism would be if they could make it portable with a built-in water tank then it would be a no-brainer, as such it’s still great to have back at the house to rinse your bikes post ride and keep them running sweet.
