Coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee…give us more…need more…sleeeeeeep.

Nothing will get you through an 18 hour drive across Europe and 3 days of non stop work like coffee. Traipsing the halls of eurobike for hours on end, it’s a constant battle to stay alert to not only the best bikes, but avoiding the strange array of wheeled vehicles tying to kill you, or even worse, then endless number of people towing luggage on wheels. This year alongside the bikes it was important to track down the best espresso, flat whites and cappuccinos the grand halls had to offer.

First up is Suntour, with a fine set-up banging out espressos to keep their staff and visitors wide-eyed and focused on the latest in damper tech. Coffee Consumed- engineering precision espresso

Scott did a great on job on their enormous stand, it felt more like a full coffee bar with barista looking the part and pretty huge capacity, if they weren’t hyper enough about the Rio results, this would sort them out. Coffee Consumed- Gold standard Flat White.

SRAM was one of the busiest stands, with a full on cafe atmosphere on the go, coffee and chat were in excellent supply, delivering nuclear powered caffeine to make you soar like an eagle before dropping into high powered sales meetings. Coffee Consumed- teeny tiny mega powered espresso

Evoc were on board with the whole caffienate-your-clients for maximum results tactic. One frantic looking barista churning out high quality flat whites one after the other for the whole stand. Without even asking he looked me up and down and handed me what I wanted like a mind reading coffee ninja. Coffee consumed: super hipster Flat White.

Where as all the others were great, Endura had the coffee wars won before the others had even ground their first beans. Haling from Lola Bikes and Coffee in Holland, these guys were on another level of coffee production, with a passion for their product which couldn’t be matched by any other stand at Eurobike. Sponsoring and supporting Kampala cycling club in Uganda, these are great guys who know their coffee. http://www.lolabikesandcoffee.nl/en/en-wat-nog-meer. Coffee consumed- about 4 espressos.
