Easton have long been an industry leader as far as handlebars go. They were one of the early adopters of carbon too and if you’ve been riding a while you will no doubt have gripped onto an Easton bar at some point in your life. The Havoc was the leading DH carbon bar on the market for a while and Easton have just stepped up the game with this 35mm offering. The new bar is 50mm wider, making it 800mm, which seems to be a bit of an industry standard these days. There are 5mm markings allowing you to trim it to 750mm or whatever length suits you best. The styling of the Easton takes the 35mm centrepiece right out to the sweeps. You have to remember this is a DH bar and on a burly rig this doesn’t look out of place. It is certainly one of the stiffest bars we have tried and that extra girth translates to exceedingly precise handling.
