Time to Skip Leg Day (Again) and Hit Bench
Gabriel Wibmer is back with another mind-bending street trials edit. Forget barbells and reps—watch Gabriel take on the streets of Munich, a city with stunning architecture and one or two benches just too inviting not to ride. And with a sprinkling of scenic Osttirol in the mix—because this is mountain biking, after all—the locations were locked in.
Adding some serious lifting power to his usual film crew, Gabriel teamed up with the legends at Cut Media for this project. Known for their work on countless banger edits, Stu and the Cut Media team delivered once again, bringing their trademark style and creative vision to this unique project. With Stephan Wibmer still behind the lens and Tom Grice on board, this project was in safe hands from start to finish.
So sit back, relax, and watch Gabriel get tech on some of Munich’s finest benches.
“Munich is just one of those cities that has endless possibilities for creative street riding. It’s got a perfect mix of interesting architecture, unique structures that are perfect for a session. The benches, ledges, and urban spots all come together to create this massive playground for riders. I wanted to show how a city like Munich can be seen differently—how everyday spots can be way more exciting with the right perspective.” — Gabriel Wibmer
“Working with Gabe on this edit was all about pushing boundaries, not just in riding but in how we bring the action to life on screen. Street riding presents its own set of challenges—there’s no controlled environment, so you’re dealing with changing light, unpredictable angles, and tight spaces. On top of that, we wanted to add layers of creativity with stop motion, match cuts, and other effects, which require a lot of precision and timing to pull off seamlessly. Capturing Gabe’s style and energy in such a dynamic setting was no easy feat, but that’s what makes it so rewarding. The end result is something fresh and unique that really showcases his skills and the spirit of street riding” — Cut Media
